Gabrielle Beresford BSc (First Class Hons) MCSP
Registered with the Health Professions Council
Gabrielle qualified at the top of her year achieving a First Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. Her achievements gained her a role shadowing RFU Physiotherapists in the fitness monitoring of Guinness Premiership elite referees. This involved assessing and treating pre-existing conditions and identifying new injuries, as well as discussing future goals and building a programme of exercise to achieve these goals.
Following this, Gabrielle worked with the Rugby Football Union Physiotherapists during the England under 18 rugby squad training camps of Summer 2006 and 2007. Her role involved assessing and treating players, warm-up and recovery sessions, devising and implementing body protection programmes, fitness testing and liaising with coaches and managers.
Gabby is part of the Kinesis team of experts working with The Lucozade Sports Science Academy. She advises marathon runners on treatments, training and injury prevention.
She also manages our contract with the governement funded National Physical Laboratories treating top scientists and advising them on prevention of work-related injury. This includes managing postural stress and ergonomic assessments.
Gabby joined Kinesis in November 2007 and is an established and hugely popular member of the Kinesis team due to her high level of expertise and professionalism.
